Bonnie Ross

I graduated from New England School of Art, Boston, Ma., in 1969. Settling in rural Maine with my husband, we raised a family on a small farm. The simple pleasures of this peaceful setting of fields, woodlands and gardens became a great motivation for creating art. I found a passion in watercolor painting, a medium that demands your attention and at the same time can create wonderful “surprises”.

With the encouragement of my mentor Ruth Taylor, I began showing my artwork in 1992. Hence this has become a way of life for me, along with teaching Adult Education classes, participating in classes and workshops throughout New England.
