July Show, SV Weekly Gallery
The art work of Priscilla Hoekstra of Etna is being featured at the Valley Arts Alliance Showcase at the offices of the SVWeekly, 66 Main Street, Newport, during the month of
July.
Priscilla Hoekstra is a talented multimedia artist. She crafts jewelry, paints tiles, creates art quilts and collages in various materials as well as paints. Her work often contains whimsy and folk elements.
Priscilla inherits part of her talent from her mother, Betty Pentland, well-known in the Newport area for her exquisitely embroidered and stenciled fabric designs. Also on display are several of Betty Pentland’s creations.
The public is invited to view the show daily during business hours, M-F, from 9 to 4:40.

starting July 1 through August 31. 10% of the sales from Valley Arts Alliance show will go to the credit union's "Ending Hunger Campaign".
